"Chartcon Limited", is established in 1996 in Hong Kong, is specialized in chemical raw materials to Polyurethane and Coating industry, as well as specialty chemicals in the fields of agricultural and electronic industry. With the efforts and development continuously, now, Chartcon has became one of the leading importers, exporters and manufacturers in great China for both Industrial and Agricultural Chemicals, having the offices and factories in Hong Kong, Taiwan and China (Guangdong, Shanghai, Shandong and Jiangsu). The turnover has reached over one billion US Dollars in 2004 and is expected that we shall achieve another 20% in 2005. The members from trading business are more than 50 and employees of whole group are over 350. To expand our activity in China, especially the Northern and West Southern China, one of our important short-term plans is to set up sales offices in Sichuan, Fujian and Liaoning.
In addition to the export for worldwide market, Chartcon's activities in China cover the fields for Polyurethane, Coating, Adhesive or Electronic Chemicals, having good connections with suppliers worldwide, especially from Europe, Middle East, American, Japan, Korea and Taiwan. Currently, the major partners are BASF, CPKelco, Kuraray Specialties, Europe, Clariant, Cristal (The National Titanium Dioxide Pigment), Dow Chemical, GE Toshiba, Mitsui Takeda Chemical, Mitsubishi Gas Chemical, Korea Kumho Petrochemical and Chang Chun Chemical.
